Change currency and set up exchange rate

Overview​

This tutorial shows how to change your primary currency from riel to US dollar in the MyLekha POS system. The tutorial will also show how to set the exchange rate for your currency.

Prerequisites​

No prerequisites required.

Step-by-Step Guide​

  1. Open the MyLehka Dashboard application.
  2. Select the "ការកំណត់" menu option on the left sidebar.
  3. Select "ការកំណត់រូបិយវត្ថុ" in the menu.
  4. Locate "United States Dollar (USD)" in the list.
  5. Click on the "United States Dollar (USD)" currency.
  6. Select the "Set primary" toggle switch to enable it.
  7. Click "រក្សាទុក" to save the changes.
  8. A dialog window will appear: "តើអ្នកប្រាកដថាចង់រក្សាទុក?", click "យល់ព្រម".
  9. To set the exchange rate, click "Cambodian Riel (៛-KHR)".
  10. Update the "តម្លៃ" field, to enter the exchange rate, for example, 4000.
  11. Click "រក្សាទុក" to save the changes.
  12. A dialog window will appear: "តើអ្នកប្រាកដថាចង់រក្សាទុក?", click "យល់ព្រម".
  13. To enable secondary currency for use in the POS system, select "ហាងទំនិញ" in the "ការកំណត់" menu.
  14. Select your store in the list, for example, "SR Coffee".
  15. Click on the edit icon, on the right side of the "SR Coffee" row.
  16. Check the "ប្ថើរប្រាស់រូបិយវត្ថុទីពីរ" checkbox.
  17. Select "Cambodian Riel" from the dropdown.
  18. Click "កែប្រែ".
  19. A dialog window will appear: "តើអ្នកប្រាកដថាចង់កែប្រែ?", click "យល់ព្រម".
  20. Close and re-open the MyLekha dashboard and POS applications to apply the changes.
  21. Open the MyLekha POS application.
  22. Select an item, for example, "Lemon Tea with Ice".
  23. Click on the "Charge" button.
  24. You can now select "USD" or "KHR" (Cambodian Riel) as a payment type.

Tips​

  • The "Set primary" toggle switch must be enabled on the currency to use for sales.
  • To use the Cambodian Riel currency on the POS system, make sure the secondary currency is enabled for the store.
