Overview

This tutorial will guide you through creating modifiers to add options or toppings to items in your MyLekha POS system, especially useful for restaurants and coffee shops. You'll learn how to create and apply modifiers for things like sugar levels and toppings.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the MyLekha POS application.
  2. Enter your pin code.
  3. Click on Item on the left navigation panel.
  4. Click on Modifier on the left navigation panel.
  5. Click on + Add new.
  6. In the Name field, enter the name of the modifier, such as "កម្រិតស្ករ" (Sugar Level).
  7. In the Code field, also enter the name of the modifier, such as "កម្រិតស្ករ" (Sugar Level).
  8. Click the + add button next to Options.
  9. In the popup:
    1. In the Name field, enter an option, such as "តិច50%" (Less 50%).
    2. In the Cost field, enter the additional cost for the option, or leave as 0.0 if it's free.
    3. In the Price field, enter the additional price for the option, or leave as 0.0 if it's free.
    4. Click Update.
    5. Repeat from step 9 for each option.
  10. Scroll down to Availability in store.
  11. Select which stores will have the modifier.
  12. If selecting one modifier at a time, turn Is Single on. Otherwise, leave it turned off.
  13. Click Create to save the new modifier.
  14. Next, set the modifier to the applicable item. Click Item and then Standard on the left navigation panel.
  15. Select the item by clicking the checkbox in the first column.
  16. Click Has modifier at the top of the page to expand modifier settings.
  17. Select the checkboxes next to the modifiers you'd like to apply to that item.
  18. Click Update to save changes.
  19. Click OK in the success popup.

Tips

  • Use modifiers for items like coffee or sandwiches, where customers have many different customization preferences.
  • Remember to associate the modifiers with specific items after creating them.
  • Consider the "Is Single" setting to decide if customers can choose only one option or multiple options from the same modifier.
