Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open either the MyLekha Dashboard or the MyLekha POS application. For ease of following, you should start from the MyLekha Dashboard.

  2. Click Item in the left sidebar.

  3. Click Standard. This will show your existing list of standard items. If you have just started there might be none yet.

  4. Click + Add new.

  5. You will now be on the "Create standard item" screen:

    1. Name: Enter the name of your new item in Khmer or English.
    2. Barcode: If you are using a barcode scanner, scan the barcode. Or, enter a unique number manually.
    3. Cost: Enter the cost price of your item.
    4. Price: Enter the retail price.
    5. Expand the Multiple price section:
      1. Wholesale price: If applicable, enter the wholesale price.
      2. Special price: If applicable, enter a special price.
    6. Expand the Organize section:
      1. Category: Select a category from the dropdown list. If you need to create a new category, click the "+" symbol.
        1. Name: Enter the name for the new category.
        2. Code: Enter a code for the category.
        3. Select Availability in store by clicking the checkbox.

    3. Has Ingredient: Toggle ON this switch if you want to use a recipe for the product and deduct specific ingredients from inventory.
  7. Under the Availability in store section, select a store from the available stores by clicking the checkbox.

  8. Ensure that Show In POS and Show In Cloud toggles are set to ON if you want to make the item available in both the Point of Sale and the online menu.
