Overview

This tutorial will show you how to create a new sale in the MyLekha Dashboard application. This allows you to sell directly from the MyLekha Dashboard in addition to the MyLekha POS application.

Prerequisites

No prerequisites required.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the MyLekha Dashboard application.
  2. In the left navigation menu, click the SALE button.
  3. Click the Sale option in the submenu.
  4. Click the + Add new button.
  5. In the "Create sale" screen, select the store:
    1. Click the Store drop-down.
    2. Select the store from the list.
  6. Select the customer:
    1. Click the Customer drop-down.
    2. Select the customer from the list.
  7. Select the employee:
    1. Click the Employee drop-down.
    2. Select the employee from the list.
  8. Select the order option:
    1. Click the Order option drop-down.
    2. Select an option from the list.
  9. Click the Ticket drop-down and select a ticket if needed, or leave it unselected.
  10. You can adjust the rate or add a discount:
    1. In Adjust As, select either Rate or Amount.
    2. Enter a value in the amount field.
    3. In Discount as, select either Rate or Amount.
    4. Enter a value in the amount field.
  11. Set the Service and VAT amounts, or leave them at 0.0.
  12. You can upload an attachment to the sale:
    1. Click the upload area with the icon of an image.
    2. A file explorer opens, allowing you to select an image file.
  13. Select items to add to the sale:
    1. Click the Select Item drop-down.
    2. Select an item to add.
    3. Click the green plus to add the item to the sale.
  14. Click + Add in the Payments section:
    1. Select a Payment type from the drop-down.
    2. Click Submit.
  15. In the Expenses (Others) section, you can also add operation expenses or leave it unselected.
  16. Click the Create button at the bottom.
  17. Click the Okay button in the popup "The Sale have been created successfully."

Tips

  • "Order Option" allows you to select what way the customer ordered. If you are doing business with delivery services such as FoodPanda, set up the delivery services in the order option.
  • Use the "Adjust As" section to add a percentage to the cost of goods if needed. This is useful if you need to pass costs like delivery fees to the customer.
  • If not needed, you can skip the "Ticket", "Service", "VAT" and "Attachment" sections.
